Viajero

The Design

Viajero, which translates to "Traveler" in Spanish, represents our inaugural Worldtimer design in our collection. This stunning timepiece boasts a wealth of features and craftsmanship, all offered at an attractive price point within the "Sub 1k" tier.

The Viajero showcases a newly redesigned, hand-finished stainless steel case characterized by a polished heavy finish, complemented by brushed detailing on the bezel to achieve a minimalist aesthetic that directs attention to the dial, the true focal point of the timepiece. Boasting an exhibition caseback and a distinctive Atlas-shaped rotor, the Viajero is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Available in three dial variants inspired by different modes of travel – "Air," "Land," and "Water" – each design pays homage to various aspects of exploration and adventure. With a case diameter of 38.5mm and a lug width of 20mm, the Viajero strikes a balance between presence and wearability, standing at 12mm tall to offer visual depth without excessive bulk.

Crafted for travelers, geography enthusiasts, or those seeking a captivating conversation piece, the Viajero introduces the coveted "Worldtimer" complication to a wider audience, making global timekeeping accessible and stylish for all.

The Details

The Viajero carries our tradition of thoughtful and functional design elements, including:

  • With its svelte dimensions, the Viajero epitomizes timelessness. Measuring at 38.5mm (45.5mm lug to lug) and maintaining a slim 12mm height, this timepiece exudes depth, highlighted by a captivating dial showcasing topographic textures, adorned with applied markers and Protractor-shaped hands – a symbolic nod to map plotting and distance measurement.
  • Equipped with a Sapphire Crystal featuring five layers of anti-reflective coating, the Viajero ensures optimal legibility and scratch resistance, whether you're checking the time or capturing memories through photographs.
  • The redesigned stainless steel case strikes a balance between formality and versatility, with a polished heavy finish accented by subtle brushing on the bezel. The case lugs pay homage to the legendary "Cornes de Vache" style, blending sharp and rounded edges in a modern reinterpretation that honors tradition while maintaining our original design ethos.
  • Water resistant up to 50 meters (160 feet), the Viajero is suitable for various activities when the crown is secured. However, it's advisable to keep the leather strap dry to prevent potential drying out.
  • Presented on a handcrafted French Epsom leather strap exclusively made under our supervision, the Viajero features contrast stitching, quick-release technology, and is paired with our signature Art Deco-inspired tang buckle (Steel Beads of Rice Bracelet upgrade available).
  • Functionally versatile, the Viajero enables simultaneous tracking of 24 time zones and can be adjusted between "Local" and "Home" time while traveling, powered by the NH34A GMT caliber. Its inner workings are showcased through the exhibition caseback, adorned with a custom-designed Atlas rotor, embodying the essence of a true worldtimer.

The Dials

Viajero offers three distinct bezel colors, each inspired by tones found on the topographic dial meticulously designed by Data Scientist Oğuzhan Köse, and exclusively licensed to us. The textured dial is created as a 3D relief before being printed. Enhanced with applied hour markers and accents, these bezel colors harmonize with the dial, creating a visually captivating ensemble. Complementing the dial are Protractor-shaped hands, evoking the symbolism of plotting points and measuring distances on a map. Reflecting various modes of travel, each bezel is aptly named: "Air," "Land," and "Water."

The Movement

The heart of Viajero beats with the dependable NH34A Automatic caliber. Enhanced by a custom-designed Atlas rotor, this mechanism not only embodies the global theme of the timepiece but also serves as a captivating conversation starter. Boasting 24 Jewels, a beat rate of 21,600 VPH, and a generous 41-hour power reserve, the NH34A ensures reliable performance. Additionally, it offers hacking settings for precise time adjustment. With regular wear, it's advisable to schedule maintenance every three to five years to keep Viajero running smoothly.
