Annum - A New Chapter in Time

Derived from the Latin word for "year," Annum marks a significant evolution in both design and mechanical innovation. As the second complication-based timepiece from Haim Watch Company, Annum introduces our inaugural custom mechanical calendar module - an elegant Annual Calendar with Moonphase - and proudly debuts our second customized movement, Caliber HWC-2.

This model represents a confluence of heritage and progress. The Annual Calendar complication with Moonphase is powered by a bespoke mechanical module - an achievement that underscores our deepening technical capabilities and continued pursuit of horological excellence.

The dial design draws inspiration from the rich legacy of vintage watchmaking, reinterpreted through a refined neo-vintage aesthetic. Available in three sophisticated colorways - Dark Cobalt, Stone White, and Fumée - each dial is meticulously finished, with two variants showcasing intricate CNC guilloché patterns, offering a textured interplay of light and depth. Applied hour markers and gracefully sculpted leaf-style hands complete the dial, enhancing its timeless elegance.

Crafted in brushed and polished stainless steel, Annum features an updated take on our signature vintage-inspired lugs. The 38mm case and 20mm lug width deliver a harmonious profile on the wrist, while the exhibition caseback reveals the finely decorated movement within - an invitation to appreciate the artistry behind the function.

Annum is paired with a custom-designed French Epsom leather strap, complete with quick-release spring bars and a signed buckle: blending effortless wearability with elevated style.

Details

Annum carries our tradition of thoughtful and functional design elements, including:

- Svelte dimensions to create a timepiece that’s timeless. Annum is sized at 38mm (45mm lug to lug) and maintains a 12mm height, all while boasting stunning dials that have high end finishes (i.e. CNC Guilloche) with applied markers and accents.

- The Sapphire Crystal has five layers of anti-reflective coating added to ensure legibility, whether you’re telling time or capturing photos - all while being scratch resistant, so that you can use your timepiece worry free.

- The hand-finished, Stainless Steel case has an aesthetic that allows Annum to be worn in formal settings, while being versatile enough to transition to casual settings. The case blends both brushed and polished finishes in the right places.

- The case lugs are a modern reinterpretation of the legendary “Cornes de Vache” (French for “cow horns”) lug style that renowned watch houses have utilized in the past. Unlike those, Annum’s lugs combine both sharp and rounded edges that maintain our original design language while giving respect to those timepieces that paved the way.

- Water resistant to 30 metres, Annum is suitable for daily wear as long as the crown is pushed down. The Epsom Leather strap should not get wet as that can cause the leather to dry out.

- Annum comes on our bespoke handmade French Epsom leather strap that is made under our supervision. It features elegant tone on tone stitching and quick release technology.

- Annum features our SECOND custom mechanical caliber, HWC-02. It is visible via exhibition caseback and is a beauty to see. Caliber HWC-02 is regulated to +/- 10 seconds a day..
