The Legacy chronograph is an ode to the past with a contemporary aesthetic that balances beauty and function. Chronographs have been donned by many notable astronauts, pilots, race car drivers and doctors. More than an homage to vintage watches, the Legacy captures the essence of chronograph “glory days” of yesteryear and fuses modern elements that will transcend into the future.

The Legacy features thoughtful and functional design elements, including:

• Perfectly sized at 39.5mm to accommodate all wrist sizes (without looking too small or too overbearing).

• A scratch-resistant, curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating adds modernity to the design. The curved glass adds depth to the layered dial and gives the illusion of a snowglobe depending on which angle you observe the dial from. We stayed away from the scratch-prone plexiglass and acrylics used in vintage chronographs so you can enjoy your watch as intended, worry-free.

• The custom-designed 316L stainless steel case provides a proper fit for the movement to ensure reliability. The elegant brushed and mirror finish plays with light without detracting from the dial’s beauty.

• Water resistant to 10 ATM, you can dance in the rain, shower, and swim with the Legacy on your wrist (A note of caution: DO NOT activate the chronograph under water).

• A 316L stainless steel “Beads of Rice” bracelet is both elegant and casual and pairs well dressed up or dressed down. A security clasp and 4 levels of micro-adjustments ensure a secure and perfect fit that is customized to you and can be adjusted as needed based on fluctuations in wrist size.

The Legacy is available in two dial variants: Sky Panda and Reverse Hunter.

We aimed for an aesthetically pleasing design that is also functional. The dial is beautifully layered with a sunburst finish that, based on the angle, captures light and will surprise you with varied color hues. To enhance functionality, the dial includes a tachometer and pulsometer scale, in addition to standard chronograph functions.

The Legacy features the ST1901 movement that is the sole successor to the legendary Swiss Venus 175 column wheel chronograph.

A brief historical interlude – In the 1960s, to finance other projects, Venus sold the movement rights, engineering details, and machinery to Tianjin Seagull, making it the only direct descendant of the Venus 175.

The HAIM Legacy offers a clean and crisp column wheel chronograph movement that is satisfying to operate, easy to service, and a joy to gaze at through the exhibition caseback.
